And after all that fahddling around, I think I'm going to use the original of "Red Right Hand" anyways. The cover is well enough, but it just lacks depth--listening to them side by side admits no doubt as to the right course of action.

It takes someone really special to do a Nick Cave cover that works properly. I'm not completely convinced that Johnny Cash's cover of The Mercy Seat was quite up to the original either, and he generally qualifies as "someone really special" in my book.
