The fluke portion of the tail (i.e. everything below my feet) is done, except for being stuffed; well, I have to sew on the Velcro, but that's about a ten minute handwork job. I would like to find some kind of big ornament for where the flipper starts, but unless I pull another Junkyard Wars I don't think it'll happen, and I misdoubt I have the stuff I'd need. Tomorrow: do the zipper and waistband, and figure out the ornamentation pattern on the top part. Also, pay the bills, like I _meant_ to do before last year's Burning Man. Yes, let's avoid that experience again.

Swelling's gone down over the course of the day; still swollen, but passable as a normal human (if somewhat chubby-cheeked) (more than usual, I mean). I have two eyes again. Go Me. The small rash bits also march toward improvement, but the Scarlet Fractal remains big and blazing. Feh. I'm almost finished with my second tube of Zanfel, and at $40 a pop that just isn't funny.

Suspicion: most of the itchies are not from the poison ivy chemical per se, but from skin brushing lightly against skin, or other things (for instance, right under my breasts has been annoying, as has between my fingers). Theory test: wearing one of the Felicia barely-a-bra soft bras to bed. Already tried putting a bandaid on one of the finger blisters, and it worked wonders; 's practically gone.

The cats are mrowwwwling and beating each other up. It's going to be one of those nights, I think.

Itchiness drove me out of bed at 8:30. No material improvements. Out of Zanfel now. Not amused.
