Preponderance of half loaves

Today, the swelling hasn't materially improved, but the rash has. Except I still have the Scarlet Fractal on my chest--maybe I should outline it with gold threat and fantastic embroidery? Outside of mumps-face, that's the bit that's bugging me the most; not that it's particularly itchy, but it's big and hideous and seems perfectly calculated to not let me wear my new dress. Hmph.

I'll have to go out today, hideous or no, to get zipper and velcro, as I don't think this is a task the boys can handle. Double hmph.

I'm going to have Steve hide the Baldur's Gate CDs so I don't get distracted from sewing...

Odd bits

1) My face itches...where I _don't_ have the rash. Current best guess is seriously dry and abused skin. Putting body lotion on it makes the texture of the skin better, but it burns going on. Annoying.

2) Really exhausted for some reason, especially confusing since I slept from about half past midnight til 11am (though I did have to get up at six-thirty to Zanfel an itchy bit). Pooky woke me up with breakfast in bed :)

3) My appetite has been fairly low; an extreme rarity. Or, well, I get hungry at normal points, but only eat a small bit. Not that I'm complaining, but I wonder if it has aught to do with #2.

4) It's still been hot, humid, and crappy while I've been stuck at home, but it's not been bothering me the way this kind of weather ordinarily does. I've actually been feeling comfortable for the most part. Again, not complaining, but it's very strange.
