Mmmm. Quiet weekend.
Jan. 6th, 2003 09:42 amAnd how sweet it was.
Friday night: After shoveling the heavy slushy muck off the driveway, it was just heavy laying around, watching a few Jonathan Creek episodes (I think we've got Steve hooked at least, and maybe Beth too), and waiting for Cindy to arrive (which happened after we went to bed due to the slushy muck that continued to fall from the sky).
Saturday: Beth and Cindy went into the city to do some exhibits. I was feeling clubbed like a baby seal (I think I'm anemic again; haven't been eating much red meat of late) so there was more laying around. Midafternoon I got my oomph back, started cleaning, and made chicken pie. Steve took Julie and Beth and Cindy out to dinner; me and
sweh, being on the injured list, stayed home and watched the Wallace & Gromit DVD I got for xmas. Then stayed up far too late talking; such a surprise.
Sunday: Bagels, noodling around online, and a most excellent painting day. My figurine for Drea is almost done, I've got Aliera and Larnoth primered, and Mirloth is being stripped (*bonk* over the head to Ross for not _saying_ that his cloak was a Cloak of Elvenkind).
I have a fuzzyish feeling of accomplishment that I'm sure will only last until I open the aDSL mailbox.
