Nullum vinum flaccidum!

Last night was a pooky night; we spent it with a most excellent bottle of Ravenswood zinf (that's their motto there, up top: "No Wimpy Wines") and the extended-version of _Fellowship of the Ring_--which was exactly what I hoped, and more. Yay!

Got really hammered, too (we finished the bottle), and I snuck up behind Steve and hit "send" on a somewhat crass post he wasn't going to send to the D&D list. It was hysterically funny at the time...I wonder if I should come out with a mea-culpa or just let it lie. No one's commented on it. Hm.
Other unfortunate result of booze: it kills pooky's immune system, and he has now got either Beth or Julie's cold. (Possibly both.)

I, of course, am fine, if tired.

No pain, no gain

Stephen and I are back in calorie-counting land. Waah. Let's see if the former not-much-hungry will be of service...so far, it seems not. I've just had lunch and my stomach is still grumbly.

In addition, the recent muckin' about with office keys has (finally) had happy results--we now all have keys to everything, but yet have three fewer keys than we did. So I can now take the stairs, which is beneficial and all, but it _is_ pretty sad how winded I get going up 5 flights. This is bullshit and must be crushed.
