Snow!

So apparently we are supposed to get a blizzard coming in tonight, lasting until sometime tomorrow. They are calling for between 1 and 2 feet of snow. The amusing thing is, I wouldn't've even known, except that naudia's first shift at the club was cancelled due to threat of nasty weather. Didn't know they _did_ that.

Of course, this will also give the big middle finger to my plans to go shopping with Beth tomorrow. Hmph. Guess we'll have to see how the day shapes up--last time they threatened us with DOOM SNOW we got a dusting that barely covered my toesies, so this could be another case of big buildup for no boom.

So, we are planning many movies. (I intend to sneak in a snowball fight, too. Heh, heh, heh...)

The sky is falling!

As usual, every time more than 1" of snow is forecast, the entire population of the tri-state area panics and rushes to the nearest supermarket, because clearly they're about to be snowed in for the next three weeks; thereby rendering it impossible for those of us who actually NEED to get something at the store to visit it with any level of efficiency. Or even obtain a parking spot.

I would really love to load all these bozos into an 18-wheeler, drive them to Buffalo, and push them out into a _real_ snowstorm. Fucking pansies.
