Mixed bag.
Apr. 9th, 2003 01:49 pmI was having a moderately-stupid brain at aikido today, and also didn't drink enough water beforehand. I have an inkling that these two things are not wholly unrelated.
Felt rather odd today: very sleepy head (guess what? not enough sleep last night. Though I was in bed at a reasonable hour, this time) but an alert, somewhat energetic body. They claim that Atkins is supposed to give you lots more energy etc. etc.; perhaps it is not bullshit.
Appetite and cravings also seem to be diminished...though we'll see how that holds up at the game tonight as everyone else is chowing down on cake and stuff.
I'm somewhat vexed with myself--Brian had some Splenda[TM] at his place (this is the sweetener they recommend on Atkins), and I meant to try it to see if it would be a happy addition to my tea, and utterly forgot. DUH. On the other hand, I learned that Andromeda remains a fairly awful program, but Charmed is not so bad.
