Ambition, again

auntiemisha and I are co-hosting a Mardi Gras party at Ubercon this weekend. Suddenly I'm filled with the urge to attempt making a King Cake for the event. Now, this is a yeast-based item, so that means time-consuming (and I have to pick up yeast, too). I'd have to do it tonight, because of course we'll be at the con tomorrow. But I'd promised myself a pedicure, and I have an online appointment to do some Call of Cthulhu stuff this evening, and I have to pack for both myself and the pooky, and I wanted to get some painting done... I think I can do it all, but I might be pulling my hair out by the end, and it'll certainly be late to bed.
