Hot! Muppet! Action!

Brian took me to see Avenue Q last night for my birthday (nice thing about delayed birthday presents: it makes your birthday last for months!), and it was, in fact, All That. And a bag of chips, and possibly the bowl of onion dip too.

The songs include "The Internet Is For Porn", "What Do You Do With A B.A. in English?", and a cheerful little piece explaining "Schadenfreude". And I do mean cheerful--these are all done in very Sesame Street-esque modes. It's hysterical. Go see it. If you're not in New York, then come here and see it. Now.

More annoyingly, my black hair clip vanished overnight. Currently my best guess is that the kittens have made off with it, which is something of a trick as it was in my zipped-up tote bag.

Tea! And stuff.

The tea shipment arrived today. At the moment I am partaking of Honeysuckle White Tea, which smells absolutely divine, and has a nice, delicate taste. I heartily recommend this product and/or service.

At last, at last, we game tonight. Huzzah. Must get back into that mindset; I've been perforce concentrating on CoC recently, and I really have to stop letting Josephine bleed through into Drea--it's confusing for everyone, not least me. In brief, the problem is: Josephine is a sarcastic bitch, Drea is not; I've caught myself several times making nasty, snide comments during D&D, which Drea would not do without a hell of a lot of provocation.

Let me take this timely moment to introduce the Gentle Reader to our CoC campaign, which may be worth an afternoon's pleasant timewasting.

Tea update, and stuff.

I'm not as enamored of the Rainforest Tea. It's got a strong and interesting flavor, but it's not quite to my taste, which is odd since the main components are allspice, vanilla, mace, and cinnamon, all of which I lurve. (There's also pau d'arco in it, and I don't have any idea what the hell it is; maybe that's the culprit.)

My bad leg's been randomly aching today, even when I'm not stretching it. Now what the fuck?
