Dreams and memes
Apr. 1st, 2004 10:31 amThe problem with having NPR as your morning wake-up call is, the first thing you hear when you wake up grabs your attention and so your dreams are much more prone to fading. But from what I remember, it was me and Jennifer (my best friend from high school, who I haven't talked to in ages...I really owe her some email) and
8782 sliding into and out of an alternate reality to try and stop some Evil Plot, which I'm no longer clear on the details of. Said alternate reality was in some sort of societal breakdown, though not quite post-apocalyptic (sorry,
marnameow!) and there were various redneck thug types giving us grief.
There was a marching band in there, too. Don't ask me why. I think we were running through their parade to try and shake the thugs.
