Inauspicious beginning.

I am dressed for dancing tonight (i.e. miniskirt, sleeveless Iggy Pop t-shirt, and heels), which I thought was fine since it's been hot and sucky all week. Lo, instead it's cold. So I was freezing on my way in. Well, that's okay, it'd be a good aikido day then, right? Sure, except that Steve made panicky OMG! WE'RE GOING TO MISS THE TRAIN OMG! OMG!!1! noises at me and I rushed out without my kit bag. (Also without book, walkman, makeup, spare shoes, breakfast, etc.) Halfway there I heard the 7:58 pulling out and realized that his Must Leave Now time is about three minutes earlier than mine.

I am salving my nerves somewhat with a bagel (low-fat cream cheese, so my sin is not too heinous).
