It was surprisingly quick--they'd booked me for two hours, so I was all hunkered down for long-term pain, but it only took some 20 minutes. Well, it is a simple and small design, after all; I don't know why the appointments guy padded it by that much. Yes, it hurt. It felt, oddly enough, like someone slicing into your skin. Imagine that. But it was certainly within tolerable levels, and besides that I had
sweh to hold my paw and my Walkman to sink my brain into, and all was well. I can also recommend the endorphin/adrenaline rush combo.
The bandage rode up a bit during the evening so some crud (blood? ink? not sure) got on my Bitchin' Camaro dress, but that should wash out. No trouble sleeping, and today, it feels not unlike a sunburn.
The pooky is still not terribly hip with this whole body-modification thing. I shall wait awhile before discussing getting the BOC symbol on my shoulderblade.
