I came >< this close to weeping at the thought of getting out of bed when the alarm went off, and staggered into the computer room to send the traditional "I am calling in sick" email of my people, only to find that of course all the people who were on vacation last week are now, perforce, still on vacation; thank you, Mr. Blizzard. Therefore I must now be responsible and drag my sorry ass in anyways.

things are going great, and they're only getting better

The trains were utterly fucked (Penn Station is, apparently, not working), and so was the PATH as a result. Thus: horrendous lateness. Forgot my office keys. It's damn cold in here. Back is killing me. The work is, as per post-weekend usual, piled up to the ceiling.
