The doctor just called back--my blood work was perfectly normal. I'm not hypoglycemic, diabetic, or wacky-thyroid. So I guess it's just my fearsomely fast metabolism to blame for the low blood sugar demon.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I definitely didn't want to be diabetic--gack!--but if the problem had a Cause, then it would be treatable (to some extent). This is just _me_, and can only be accepted and worked with, or around, depending on your point of view.

Erm... they can't tell "hypoglycemia" from a single bloodtest, last I was aware. The only good way to tell if it's going on is a "every half hour" test, and plotting a graph against sugar consumption, etc. It is technically possible via non-invasive means (shining a laser through your finger and doing spectrometry on glucose), but whether that happens in medical practice or not, I have no idea.
