Ugg boots. Worth it/not worth it? They look wonderfully snuggly but I have vague recollections of having heard that they're not All That And A Bag Of Chips.

Yes.

Ugg boots are the essence of dagginess. Comfy, but not to be worn outside the house on pain of social ridicule. Considered déclassé even by SCAdians in Australia. Those who *do* wear them in public traditionally pair them with acid-wash skin tight jeans, a flannie (plaid shirt), and a couple of screaming toddlers called "Narelle" and "Craig".
