Weekend round-up

serinde...finally. What an annoying day.
I had the oddest craving for Uno's pizza, so upon my return from work (as I was the only one who went to work; bow before the breadwinner!)![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sweh (who had cleaned up all the Thanksgiving detritus, dear creature that he is) and audiovile and I proceeded thither. Beer and pizza and buffalo wings, yes. Then home for general noodling around and City of Heroes and whatnot.
Up semi-early for shopsies. Procured: large plastic tubs for storage, punching bag & gloves fornaudia, slippers for her and for me, a new tote bag for me which I love in ALL CAPS, a puzzle for the office, and an excellent luncheon at the Napa Valley Grill. Afterwards, naudia was feeling a bit wobbly, so audiovile took her home; sweh and I continued for a bit longer, then we too returned home. A bit to eat and a bit of kicking around the house, then we packed sweh home to tend to his cough in his own cozy apartment which is much warmer than the sunroom, and the remaining three of us went out shopping a bit later. Scored Clif Bars, some stuffed chirpy bird toys for my niece and nephew (I love my sister so very, very much), some more cheap wineglasses as we'd lost a fair few through attrition, & a pitcher for frothing milk (which we still haven't mastered). Thence to Whole Foods, ostensibly for spelt flour and ginger syrup, but the cheese counter leapt out and attacked us. Steve looked at the giant pile of cheeses we'd assembled and quoth, "I guess we're having a wine and cheese party tonight." Therefore we summoned 8782 and Brian; ate cheese, drank wine, and watched The Thing, which believe it or not I'd never seen before. The others sensibly retired afterwards, but 8782 and I stayed up to watch Buckaroo Banzai because, well, it'd been awhile. Crashed out c. 3am.
Forged out through the rain to hunt & gather bagels. The rest of the day consisted of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, bits of Addams Family Values, and Return of the Living Dead (which I'd also never seen), interspersed with turkey soup creation and Simpsons. Everyone was returned to their mutual domiciles at varying times, then after contemplating my knitting, I gave up and went for a bit more CoH before bed...for what should have been a reasonable night's sleep except that Ranger had a nosebiting fit at oh-dark-thirty. Feh.
