A wee small bomb (ha) dropped this morning, which even restricting this journal entry to "friends only" would still make too public. So you'll all just have to wonder. I will say that no one is dead, ill, or pregnant, so don't sweat any of that.

It sure has colored what should be a shiny happy day, though. Hopefully I will be able to ditch the line of thought by this evening.

At least the cough is gone. Wow, that syrup was some seriously big juju--usually my coughs stick around for weeks.

Some prescription stuff Steve got for the last time _he_ had a really bad cough (so I shouldn't have used it; breakin' the law! breakin' the law!). The generic name is "tussafed" and Mr. Internet says it contains hydrocodone bitartrate (potentially habit-forming cough suppressant), phenylephrine hydrochloride (nasal decongestant), and guiafenesin (expectorant). The latter is in a lot of OTC cough syrups here, so I'm guessing #1 is the big gun.
