A few catch-up vignettes

As we were coming out of Sin City into the chaos of a 9:30pm Friday night street in the Village, someone said behind me, "I've seen you naked!"
I turned, and beheld Ian ("Boyfriend!!!"), one of my Burning Man campmates--who is ordinarily in either Australia or San Francisco, depending.

Lots and lots of CoH this weekend, which included a very late-night session fighting a Tsoo boss named Mr. Po. The sleep-dep silliness this generated climaxed in a pack of 20-25th level heroes standing around Atlas Plaza, jumping up and down and saying "PO!" with no explanation, much to the expressed puzzlement of passersby.

Hotel room (re-)booked; grateful thanks to those who offered spare rooms, and I wish to *pint* you when we are in town in return for your kind volunteerism. DSL is imminent: kyrie eleison, christe eleison. I am deeply vexed with the fact that the comic companies have decided it is Fuck With My Old Favorite Characters year (and I am crafting rants anent this phenomenon for ihatetheuniverse in my CFT). I realized last night that when I'm knitting in the round, I do it inside-out; have to ask Rose about this.

Funny you should mention CoH. I canceled my account. It was a bit too repetitive for my tastes.

OTOH, I found new crack that's specifically tuned for those who liked Elite and Privateer. It's bad, man.
