There are big-ass crows *kark*ing up a storm outside the window, a performance that has been ongoing for the last couple of days. I have no idea what's up with that, unless it's some kind of doomful omen thing.

I'd go with the doom, but perhaps that's just because at the moment I'm particularly doubtful as to my ability to make it to my scheduled vacation mallet-free.
