serindeIn spite of still-injured wrist and leg, it was a great session. I was working with Dennis, who I only knew as "the nice guy who gave us a quick weapons class the day neither of the weapons teachers were in", and he had a lot of excellent advice for me on details. (Which is what I seriously need to be concentrating on, these days.)
And he had bad knees, so I didn't have to do the suwari waza stuff--we did those techniques standing. BONUS!~ (Yes yes, I have to learn them eventually.)
Nice bit of randori freestyle at the end. It was all ushiro tekubitori, which is not exactly my forte--it is fussy, and it is difficult for those of us with short stumpy arms--but Lord knows I needed the practice.
