For the most part I'm tolerably content with the new office location, but there is this one problem: All the bars around here are super-expensive, or suck, or (in many cases) both. At our former ranch, there were any number of places you could walk to which had the sacred post-work $3 pint. I've yet to find one in striking distance here, because it's also striking distance from Penn Station and MSG, and therefore the local proprietors can soak the tourists and the sports fans and the B&T crowd at their pleasure.
