Last Thursday's Dilbert calendar entry...

Well, you could tell $TELCO to have their outages after business hours.

So can I, or any man, but will $TELCO listen to you?

Or even understand what you're on about?

Besides, if the outage is outside business hours, some poor bastard is going to get paged. Best to have them when we're all at our desks, I say.
