The Future Is Now

Am presently installing Vista on a poor hapless sacrificial piece of hardware. "biohazard" being a name already in use, I have dubbed it "bubonic" (with thanks to darkteddybear for the suggestion).

I feel dirty, but not in the good way.

I've found two big ones (outside the normal annoyances) so far, and I don't think I can describe my emotion as "YAY FUN".

Watching Windows eat itself is a lot more fun from a distance. I'd really rather the computer I'm using myself just work and not excite me too much with any issues of its own. And I'm thankful that my job duties don't include helping the punters Reboot/Retry/Ignore.
