limitations of searchology

It's a simple question, really. I was looking at bar sets and idly wondering why a bar knife has a forky bit on the end. Newbie hypothesizes it's so you can pit olives, but this seems wrong to me.

which is selling the Rosle Stainless Steel Bar Knife and the description includes "The two prongs at the tip are perfect for picking up segments after they're cut."
So, basically, the same reason as a cheese knife.
