Memetastic: Choose Yer Fantasy World
Jul. 25th, 2007 09:25 amYour Score: Song of Ice and Fire
Your world is 53% Sophisticated, 49% Unconventional, and 68% Intense!

You have the dubious honor of residing in Westeros. I say dubious because while your world is very intense at times, and has tons of cool-yet-mostly-generic noble houses and knights and evil Others, it is also sophisticated and very, very real. Main characters have no innate protection against untimely death. None at all. Protagonists drop like flies. In fact, the only characters who die more often than protagonists are... everyone else. That's right. You'll starve, be raped, dismembered, frozen to death, or thrown off a thousand foot precipice. If you're lucky you'll just have your face split in two by an axe and live to tell the tale. But it's sure going to be fun for us to read about.

Your world is 80% Sophisticated, 32% Unconventional, and 29% Intense!
You've landed in the futuristic world of L.E. Modesitt Jr. (Think Archform: Beauty or The Octagonal Raven). Intelligent and plausable, yet typical and entirely low-key. You probably live on Earth several hundred years in the future. Your society is a whole lot like modern Earth's, but with its share of differences. You can access the 'net with a thought because of your nifty nanotech implants. You probably don't visibly age until the last few years of your life, when organ failure kicks in. If by chance the fate of the world ends up resting in your hands, it will probably hinge more on corporate takeover and less on killing Mr. Bad.
I'm a stick in the mud, but an interesting stick to talk to, apparently. :)

Yes. Goats. Fortunately, you as a character are likely not a regular human, but one of the relatively few with hereditary superhuman physical and mental abilities — to protect and serve. And I haven't even mentioned the cyborgs. Or their space warships.
So, yeah. I got yer “low-key” right here.
