Does anyone really believe it's only 35 minutes to go the whole length of the 7, from Times Square to Flushing?

It depends... is the train stopping?

If it's the 7 Express (theoretically identified with a purple diamond instead of a circle, but the labels on the actual trains are a bit of a gamble), then it won't be stopping much.

What? That's nonsense. I used to take the 7 everyday from Grand Central to Queensborough Plaza and that was at least 15 minutes and that's only like, 3 stops

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA... *snort*

Uh, no. Not so much. I used to live on the 7 line in Queens... it wasn't that quick to get to 74-Jackson Heights, and that's not even the end of the line. It's a frickin' milk train. And they don't run a lot of 'em, usually, so you'd best factor in time spent waiting for the train.

My, they're optimistic.

mmm, not so far off. There's an express 7 as well as a local. I lived in College point for a while. Took the bus to Main street, the 7 end to end, and the 3 down to Wall St - the whole operation took about an hour and a half.

love the rabbitar :o)
