Started poorly, as I left my gym bag (with gi, sports bra, etc.) on the train. I knew that was going to happen someday. Was also very tired and cranky and didn't want to haul down to Orange to help work on a banner. But, I promised, and I went, and actually had a good time.
Saturday: Dig dig dig dig dig. I planted pansies and violas in the bed along the rear of the house, and mulched it; planted two of the night-lilies in the small bed on the south side, and mulched _that_; and started digging the end hole to transplant one of the spirea bushes, but didn't get far due to a metric assload of tree roots. We also went shopping and acquired a small table for the porch (it'll be in next week), a mound of DVDs, and a bunch of impatiens and alyssum (my bad). Failed to acquire a weight bench for Steve and a kit for making an ornamental pond.
Sunday: _very_ sore and tired. Noodled around the house in the morning, then went to Beth's Easter/birthday party, where a merry time was had by all, and I found that even Chardonnay is okay if you haven't been allowed any alcohol for two weeks. Came home late, got to bed later.
Happy ending: someone has turned in my gym bag to the NJ Transit lost and found. Yay!
