serindeToday was a very long day. We had the kids from 10am until, well, Mom just left to take them back to their other grandparents' (who aren't home, so she has to stay with them until Betsey and Jeff get back from the thingy they're at). Did I mention that neither child would take a nap? In spite of a lack of sleep last night?
It's really interesting to compare their personalities. We are really starting to wonder if Andrew isn't somewhat manic-depressive; yes, it is the nature of small childrens' moods to swing like nobody's business, but this seems excessive. One might hypothesize that it has to do with travelling and Other People and whatnot, but then, Katy remains on a relatively even keel under the same circumstances. I imagine if I try to pursue delicate inquiries, though, I'll get my head bitten off.
Such a nice day. Wish I could have gotten some use out of it. I'm too exhausted to do any of the yard stuff I had in mind.
