What I done to me
Sep. 23rd, 2003 12:38 pmHere's my medical consultant's analysis, based on the description I mailed him:
OK, it's definitely a muscle that most likely got compressed by some portion of your Ishium bone (pelvic girdle-thingy) when you landed. A shock like this is not uncommon when you land squarely on a bone. You probably irritated your inferior Splanchnic nerve root as well (a nerve that snakes around by the sacrum (tailbone)) it goes into everything in the area including the Detruser muscle that controls bladder contraction. Also, there is a good chance that you rotated your pelvic bone out of position (which would contribute to the feeling of not-so-rightness).
Go Me.
