We set the alarm on the early side since we have many miles to travel for l'affaire mangosteen. As Steve got in the shower, I plunked down in front of my computer...whose clock, I noted, was a full hour earlier than the alarm clock. The penny dropped in slow motion.

What makes it even dumber is, we made a joke of our wedding being over the weekend the time changed; we told everyone they could debauch later because they'd get an extra hour of sleep. Duh!

(How interesting. LJ doesn't have a built-in emoticon for anything in the "dumb/stupid/idiotic/retarded" family.)

This time was the first in years that this didn't sneak up on me and give me a surprise the following day.

Not sure how that happened. I'm certainly no more observant of these things than in the past.
