Nice preview of summer today. It's about 85 and humid. I did not, I am happy to say, get dehydrated. I did overheat to the pounding-headache-and-nausea stage, but before I could do anything really stupid, my leg started complaining so I had to sit out for a bit anyways.
So, what deeply pisses me off about the leg injury, above and beyond the obvious results, is that I missed all of the spring, which is one of the best times for me, climatologically speaking. And on top of that, as the weather warms up, my body would ordinarily get at least a little accustomed to the heat, and my stamina would be improving, blah blah blah. Instead, now, I'm plunging in to hot weather after losing what condition I had. If I had to have a major injury, why the fucking fuck couldn't have been during the summer?
