Jul. 28th, 2005 12:00 pmHere's one relevant to ongoing discussions on p.chat.politics. I think I may post the link thither, just to put the cat among the pigeons. Aheheheheh.
Damn straight.
Objection, however: "blind" patriotism. For answering "yes, however I can" to "would you serve your country?". That does not necessarily imply "serving your country according to the dictates of the people in power"--it can equally mean "serving the vision of your country that's enshrined in your heart".
| Der Resistance Achtung! You are 23% brainwashworthy, 27% antitolerant, and 47% blindly patriotic |
| Welcome to the Resistance (Der Widerstand)! You believe in freedom, justice, equality, and your country, and you can't be converted to the the dark side. Breakdown: Your Blind Patriotism levels are borderline unhealthy, but you show such a love of people from everywhere and a natural resistance to brainwashing, you would probably focus your energy to fight Fuehrer with furor, so to speak. Conclusion: Born and raised in Germany in the early 1930's, you would have taken up ARMS against the oppressors. Or even your friends' oppressors. Congratulations! Less than 5% of all test takers earn a spot in Der Resistance! |

Date: 2005-07-28 04:33 pm (UTC)I ended up as an Expatriate because my Patriotism wasn't high enough. Sheesh.
(for the record, I too answered "however I can", but I answered "probably not" to "would you die for your country?")
