Objection, however: "blind" patriotism. For answering "yes, however I can" to "would you serve your country?". That does not necessarily imply "serving your country according to the dictates of the people in power"--it can equally mean "serving the vision of your country that's enshrined in your heart".

First time round I got "Resistance"; second time I got "Expat". I guess it's a fine line between fighting back or just pissing off elsewhere :-)
