No shit. Same with Green Day and a bunch of other groups. If you wanna be "edgy" then play the song without the blanks and garbles. If you're gonna cower before the FCC, don't play the fucking songs in the first place.

Yes. The other one that usually puts a bug up my butt is when they attempt to throw "Ænema" by Tool at us. YOU ARE BLEEPING EVERY OTHER WORD. JUST STOP.

Thing Liked Best About The Bay Area: none of the stations there seemed to do that shit..

Back in days of yore, when I was in high school, and would watch VH1, I swear to $DEITY they bleeped the word “toke”. Repeatedly. Censorship has never been quite the same for me since.

Ooh! Oooh!! My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE:

The shitty local stations will play "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton perfectly happily, without any kind of alteration. But! when they would play Buckcherry's "Lit Up", which they did a lot since it was a Big Hit for about fifteen minutes, they'd INEVITABLY bleep the chorus "I love the cocaine, I love the cocaine".

Hypocritical swine.

Then there's the Tom Petty song where "joint" was censored via random garbling. "So let's get...to the point...let's smoke...another bleurgbe...."

Or maybe it was "roll another bleurgbe". Been a while.

I noticed a week or so back that Music Choice (or maybe it was Edge) music channels on FIOS TV had the odd audio dropout at the most opportune moment. It's not even as if I listen to edgy music!
